Ever since I can remember, storytelling has been my passion and a driving force in shaping my aspirations. From a young age, my exposure to the art of filmmaking took root in the simple act of watching my mother edit short family videos on iMovie for special occasions. Following in her footsteps, I developed a deep appreciation for the craft, realizing its potential to convey emotions, provoke thoughts, and bring people together. I loved putting the pieces together in a story to create a compelling narrative. Little did I know that this early venture into storytelling would plant the seeds of my passion for filmmaking, ultimately guiding me to where I stand today: an award-winning filmmaker. These experiences have only fueled my desire to pursue, invest in, and broaden the skill set needed to share my artistic and visionary ideals with the world. 
 

 As an Afro-Latina pursuing a career in the entertainment industry, I recognize the importance of representation and the role I play in shaping narratives. Through the films/shows I aspire to create, I seek to ignite conversations, challenge systemic injustices, and inspire viewers to question the status quo.
